Description

Helios, god of the sun, has a daughter: Circe. She has neither the exceptional powers of her father nor the bewitching charm of her mother, but she nevertheless discovers a gift: witchcraft, poisons and the ability to transform her enemies into monstrous creatures. Little by little, even the gods fear her.
Her father orders her to exile herself on a desert island where she develops occult rites and meets all the important characters of mythology: the Minotaur, Icarus, Medea and Ulysses….
But this existence as an independent and dangerous woman worries the gods and frightens men. To save what she holds most dear, Circe must choose between these two worlds: the gods from whom she descends, and the mortals she has learned to love.
